Shipping Policy

Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.
High Country Tools is a small, firefighter-owned business. Caleb serves full-time as a firefighter and works extended 48-hour and occasionally 72-hour shifts. Because of this schedule, same-day shipping is not always possible. Orders are still processed as quickly as possible, and when delays occur we frequently upgrade packages to priority shipping whenever possible.
Shipping Rates
- Free USPS Ground shipping on orders over $80
- Free USPS Priority shipping on orders over $125
- Faster options, including overnight, are available at checkout for an added cost
Shipping costs for orders below these amounts are calculated at checkout.
Tracking and Delivery
Orders ship from Denver, Colorado. Shipping times vary depending on the destination and carrier. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email.
Please ensure your shipping address is correct when placing your order. High Country Tools is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or incorrect address information provided at checkout.
International Orders
We ship to many countries outside the United States. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Customs duties, import taxes and brokerage fees are the customer's responsibility, and delivery times vary by country and customs processing.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the package and the items. If your tracking hasn't updated for 14 days or shows delivered but you can't find it, contact us and we'll work with the carrier to locate it. Either way, we'll make it right with a replacement or refund once the issue is confirmed.

HCT is committed to 100% satisfaction with your purchase.
Defective Tools
Tools with a manufacturing defect are covered by our limited lifetime warranty. Contact us with photos and a description of the issue, and we'll repair or replace the item.
Ordered the Wrong Tool?
Contact us within 30 days of delivery. Unused items in original condition can usually be returned for a refund or exchange.
Return Conditions
- Item must be unused and in original condition
- Contact us before sending a return so we can confirm the details
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
Refunds
Refunds are issued to your original payment method once the item is received and inspected. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund may take several business days to appear.
Used Tools
Used tools are not eligible for return, unless the item qualifies under our manufacturer defect warranty.
Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty
High Country Tools (HCT) products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.
If a product fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair or replace the item at our discretion.
What's Not Covered
- Normal wear from use
- Improper use, misuse, or abuse
- Damage caused by incorrect speeds, feeds, or machine setup
- Damage caused by accidents or improper storage
How to Make a Claim
If you believe your tool has a manufacturing defect, please contact us with your order number, photos and a description of the issue. We will review the claim and work with you to resolve it.
Your Legal Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Terms & Conditions

High Country Tools ("HCT," "we") is operated by High Country Tool LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. These terms apply to purchases from HCT at highcountrytool.com. By placing an order, you agree to them, along with our shipping, returns, warranty and privacy policies.
Orders and Pricing
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. We work to keep product information and prices accurate, but if an error occurs, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full. We may also limit quantities or decline orders at our discretion, including suspected fraud.
Discount Codes
One discount code can be used per order, and codes can't be combined. Personal codes, such as Kinetic Carving member codes, are for the named member's use. We may change or end promotions at any time.
Safe Use of Our Tools
By purchasing products from High Country Tools, the customer acknowledges that CNC tooling and cutting tools can be dangerous if used improperly.
Customers are responsible for:
- Operating machinery safely
- Following manufacturer recommendations for speeds, feeds, and safety practices
- Using appropriate protective equipment
Feeds and speeds, tool libraries and other guidance we provide are starting points only. Test on scrap material and adjust for your machine.
Limitation of Liability
High Country Tools is not liable for injury, property damage, or incidental losses resulting from improper tool use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under our warranty or under laws that can't be waived.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
California Proposition 65
Drilling, sawing, sanding, or machining wood products can expose you to wood and plastic dust, substances known to the State of California to cause cancer.
Avoid inhaling wood dust and use appropriate safety equipment such as dust collection systems and respirators.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here, with its effective date, applies to orders placed after that date.
Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit highcountrytool.com, buy from us or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We will never sell your personal information.
Information We Collect
- Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, order details, messages you send us, and any product reviews you write.
- Payment information: entered at checkout and handled by our payment processors (Wix Payments and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
- Information collected automatically: your device and browser type, IP address, pages you view, and the site that referred you, collected with cookies and similar technologies.
- Information from partners: if you're a Kinetic Carving member, Kinetic Carving shares your name with us so we can issue your personal member discount code.
How We Use It
- To process, ship and support your orders, including returns and warranty claims
- To answer your questions and provide customer support
- To send marketing emails if you sign up for them (every email has an unsubscribe link)
- To improve our website and products, and to prevent fraud
- To show you relevant ads on other sites and apps, such as Google, Facebook and Instagram

We use cookies and analytics to keep the site working, understand how it's used, and personalize your experience. We also use advertising tools from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, which may collect information about your activity on our site and other websites over time to show you relevant ads and measure how they perform.

Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How We Share Information
We only share information with trusted service providers that help us run our business: Wix (which hosts our store and checkout), payment processors, shipping carriers, email services, and advertising platforms. We may also share information if required by law or to protect our rights and customers.
How Long We Keep It
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill orders, honor warranties, and meet tax and accounting requirements. Other information is kept only as long as it's useful for the purposes above.
Your Choices and Rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. You can also ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@highcountrytool.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, and we'll honor requests as required by law.
Children
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or online service is completely secure.
